I had seen a doe with a follower a couple of weeks ago but like a lot in the snow she was working the middle of a hedge, this time the follower was chasing Mum around and recived a head butt for it's pleasure. The follower ran off with mum close behind so with a quick peep she pulled up then went over, typical neck shot legs scrapping for a few seconds then all was quiet.
The youngster was way back in the wood then disappeared. I guessed the Mom was carrying as they always have something in toe.

My other seat in in this block (which needs to go on a tree 10 yds away) as this fox came out out close this afternoon the previous trip but I had ran out of travel last time. Not this time.. a fox in winter coat gives off not so much heat but enough so I could see it and find her in the scope then wait for a clear gap in the branches. Big breeding vix back to nature.
