In 2009 I was fortunate enough to be invited to the 'Top End' (Katherine NT Australia) for a week of hunting and fishing.
It was an amazing experience... and very hot as you could imagine! lol

There are a LOT of feral donkeys down there Nick, I think they are seen as pests.

The donkey numbers are out of control in some areas.
Tough too... I have seen them soak up a hit from a .375ruger @ 80m and stand dead on their feet for a few minutes before dropping. But a shot to the head and instant drop.
As for how do they taste? I was to busy eating Barra and Buff to eat Ass...lol
