Officially the best knife for stalking that money can buy.

i couldn’t care a hoot ( after giving myself a bo#%$ing ) if i lost a knife apart from the safety aspect of some one else finding it, if you lose it - you’ve lost it and just move on, cost is irrelevant to be honest, if you use a blade enough it’s nice to have something with you that you enjoy using and it’s good for what you want to use it for, i’ve got blades for big deer and the same for small deer and one for rabbits, all get used a fair bit, all well made and work nicely in their own area
just get what you can run your wallet to, enjoy and try not lose it - each to their own whatever you choose. it’s only a bit of metal :coat::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I once watched a guy gutting a rabbit with its own teeth.
Was this done as a suspended exercise, was he wearing gloves and when had he last brushed his teeth? I would worry about the potential for contamination, I do like the way you clarified they were his own teeth though, much better than borrowing someone else’s from a hygiene perspective.

I totally agree with you Dalia, I’ve got an expensive knife but I don’t want to loose it, I have used it on a few occasions and it’s a joy but there’s nothing wrong with a mora, does the same job, if l loose it I’m not bothered, I have got a leather sheath for it rather than the plastic one.orange handle is a blessing also.

Done that but wasted on the masses of SD
My Dad showed me so I tried it, you only need to nick the skin and pull it apart.
I used to push my thumb over the back then cut through so I could pull both half's in one go.
Quick if you had a number to do for the butcher years ago.

It wasn’t suspended, he did it live and as scheduled.

I read it as he used the rabbits teeth.

As a general rule a knife should have a shape that helps prevent your hand running down onto the blade when wet, tired and or idiotic.
Not being so designed confers no benefit and in 30years we all do something stupid - I’d like to keep my finger tendons and ligaments thanks

Think I saw a comment on gutting Rabbits by a good squeeze.:D
Works easily enough on young rabbits, but it's a bit harder on older ones (where the guts have a tendency to end up where you don't want them, sometimes up a leg instead of out of the anus).

Snap-on are like expensive knives but with one draw back if it breaks you don't get a replacement knife...:-|
I had an issue with my Alan Wood mini Hunter. Sent it to him to check and it was all fixed (re-handled) and posted back to me within a week with apologies for the inconvenience. The true craftsman stand by his work. Mora’s work but have no soul.
