I have yet to meet a single user that admits to regularly using TA
Other than to test it works

Anyone with a rangefinder can “TA” their extraction
Ping your shot site as you walk away and you know you are on an arc of the approximate distance you took the shot from.
I agree a nice tree is useful but thats what sticks in the ground are for!!

I have a set of the TA model after having owned the older version, glass on the TA model is definitely better and the added advantage of the ballistic calculator is an added bonus
