Some of you may have been on the M6 last week?
Personally I have been on the M6 for most of last week!
If you were, then you may have been caught up in the M6 closure in and around Gretna.
North Carlisle was thrown into traffic chaos after a 'serious' collision on the M6. Police were called after an HGV crashed into a bridge in between Junction 44 and 45 of the M6 just before 7am on Thursday morning.
Difficult day for the lorry driver...

I understand that some vehicles were stuck for over three hours on the motorway.
Whilst I was heading South, I was diverted off and around some tiny villages which live alongside the M6.
The traffic in the village which was heading North, seemed to be way heavier and I counted myself fairly lucky.
As I crawled through the village, I saw some 'art work'.
I thought it rather wonderful...

Puts everything into perspective don't it?
