One piece quick release mount advice,

i cant see it being a problem really, as daft as i am:)
my profiles will be A 22lr, B 17hmr, C 223 and D 234, and i will do a check where possible to check the zero, 👍

Why not it simple with the pulsars non lrf I just change the zero distance ( not the actual distance you zero at ) to for example which shows in bottom left corner of display
22
250
243
300
306
308 etc
And the other digital and thermal
I just start small to big
A22 lr
B 22-250
C243
D3006
E300 win

Simples it’s a easy as making sure your on the right profile same as you have a bolt and ammo can be forgotten but you only tend to do it once

It's a sad fact of life that not everybody is as smart as you :)
Going by the number people on this and other forums who struggle with zeroing and using digital scopes on multiple rifles, I stick by my statement

Cheers

It not about me thinking I’m smarter than everybody else it’s just the fact I put time and effort into enjoying every part of the sport from reloading zeroing and shooting scouting etc which involves learning and researching trying and changing until the things you do are repeatable and accurate I fully agree with you people do struggle to zero and I think part of That is down to stubbornness thinking that after zeroing there day scopes for 30 years they can just chuck a battery and zero it exactly the same which you can’t but once you put the time and understand your new system it gets easier but yes I do agree some people struggle heck I know people that still struggle to get a day scope on paper at 50 yards and unfortunately that will always be the case

I was reading this thread and as I have rusan quick release rings on my 22lr I thought I'd try testing them to see if they return to zero.
I set up a target at 50 yards and fired a 3 shot group then removed the scope and fired another group then i would remove the scope again and do the same .
I shot 5 groups removing the scope 4 times and here are the results.
I think they performed very well considering I was getting up from my position each time to remove the scope.
I was also using cheap CCI SD ammo.

Had my pard DS35 on Innomount expensive mount but no loss of zero, and when I use it over three rifles, it works out cheaper than having a few extra scopes. Then I bought an Alpex 4K and put it in the same mount; no loss of zero with it either over same rifles.

i think all i can do is give it ago, if it works it works, if not, then i will have to come up with a plan B,

realistically, the plan to put it on the 243 was to record me shooting deer to show the farmers,
on the 223 for night time fox, and the hmr for night time rabbits, dont often use the 22lr much theses days, but its something i will always have,

cant complain at that mate 👍

I just bumped into this topic. The Leupold QRW don't do it for me. About 2" of POI shift at 100m. Much cheaper than the Innomount I use, but less good.
What is the repeatability you get from QRW? ( people wich are pleased about them)

I just mounted an Innomount Multirail on my T3x lite - 308. This allows me to use the Blaser Saddle mount on it, as well as any picatinny system.

I only use 2 rifles regularly.. both are fitted with Tikka S/S Picatiny rails that I use for foxing and rabbit control with my Rico RH 50 Thermal weapon mounted scope that’s got innamounts qr system.
Tikka T3 C/F .223 foxing rig is set on profile C for obvious reason.
Raw.25 Fac air rifle set on profile A ..get the pic.
I normally only take 1 rifle out per session on night time control, and always check the profile on thermal is correct for quarry on the night before leaving home.
To be honest I haven’t had any issues thus far..keeping it simple as the Rico has a range displayed in top corner ..profile C zero @ 65 yds and profile A zeroed in @ 36 yds.
So to sum it up Profile A = AIRGUN..Profile C = C/F and works very well for me and very simple.

My Innomounts also are excellent. The QRW from Leupold shift POI after removing and replacing the scope. Traditional scope and I don't touch the scope.
As I got a 2" shift in POI , I just wonder what other people got from these mounts or what they call acceptable.

Mark Ripley demonstrates the Sportsmatch mounts, but he does it on a biggisch white plate. I would like to see it on paper. If the rifle shoots 1/2 MOA, does it still shoot half MOA with two shots before and two after removing the scope.

im not overly impressed with them to be honest, iv only moved it from my 243 to my HMR and it is out upto 1" at 100y, every time, so its not something i feel comfortable moving about without checking zero, which is not a massive thing to check zero but my thought/hope was that i wouldnt have to, as sometimes i like to just naff off at a moments notice, and you can guarantee the alpex will be on the wrong rifle,

I have the same idea. I wanted a foxing scope and a range scope on my 223, but it just isn't what I hoped.
Hitting a 4"-6" plate at 100m will always be possible, but never 100% perfect.

i was going to put my alpex on 4 rifles, but worked out it only needs to go on my 243 and HMR, i have a vortex on the 223 now so thats all good, looks like i will have to put my hand in my pocket, again, its never ending this rifle shooting and reloading job, im only about £10k in so its not to bad
