Hi Guys some of you may have already seen me using the MT1000LRF on my YouTube channel Veteran Vermin Control, i was approached by Oneleaf to test out their new thermal scope and I was extremely pleased with how it performed and equally how well priced it is given all of the features it has such as a 640x512 sensor, LRF & BC, 6OHz re fresh rate.

I have used this on my Airgun, HMR and centerfires for ratting, rabbit shooting and foxing and it has worked extremely well, with no Uk supplier at the time of me having mine I was surprised that this was the case, with that said I spoke to Oneleaf as I had a idea that I would become a UK supplier and equally I would deal with the warranty issues if there was ever a need for anything to be sent back for repair.....scopes come with a 3 year warranty.

Fast forward to now and I have set up a website called Veteran Shooting Supplies where myself and my Wife will manage this as we slowly build up the website and the stock around our day jobs, both of our phone numbers are on there should you need to ask anything for a quicker a response, you can place orders through the website or directly through us, we will aim to have the scopes shipped out the next working day as we will strive to give the best possible service not only during a sale but in a ongoing way if aftercare was needed with enquiries.

Cracking scopes
one leaf mars 1000 are superb .Ive had one of these mars 1000's in my hands out in the fields at night as a spotter and have i have got to admit they really are brilliant !
Detail ... spot on range finder seems really unfussy and managed to range everything bar one target , a horse box side on around 300m away , to be fair it was covered in moss. Apart from that everything bunnys/ deer/ badger/ hedgerows no problem. Was very easy to use as well. I didn't even bother taking the instruction's with me, found it pretty easy to fumble my way around to do what i was trying to do easy enough. The spec is very good and was quite surprised at some of the features The best bit was swapping the lens over. I thought it would be a faff out the field at night but its no differnt that swapping a normal camera lens over.
I had the 50mm lens and i think the smaller one was a 30 or 35mm
The smaller one was a bit to small for our big open fields but did give a massive FOV but more than useable i just like the 50mm ( very much ) the smaller one was just class in the woods with a cracking image looking down the rides

The furthest I have had the Lrf out to was aprox 1300yrds, the footage from this is in the second video and shows The BC in play at this range

I`ve been trialling one of these for the last few months. I must admit for the price you cant really go wrong, been using it on my 223 for the foxes and I'm waiting for the 75mm lens coming to trial. like a say for the price you cant go wrong.

Cheers mate in total honesty I would love to be able to offer a discount on these but I can not sell them for less than what Oneleaf charge on there own website, so I could have marked them up for the UK market or sell them at the price Oneleaf would sell them for, so I went down the best route for the customer, passing on the financial benefit to other shooters was more important than making more money out of them for me

Get one bought they are cheap as chips for what they are, I will put you a surprise in seeing as though you are a fellow veteran I dont know what that will be but it will be something

John that's a good question to ask and one that i asked Oneleaf as I wanted to be able to reassure UK buyers that there was a reliable and trustworthy UK based point of contact should the need arise

Should there be any issues at all you can contact me and I will liaise with Oneleaf and if it was something where the unit would need to be replaced or sent away I would personally deal with that, send it to me and I will then send it back and keep you updated on what's happening.
