I actually saw a Grey Teal lift off a dam last week,a real rarity.
Btw they dont need to light their AB`s to be fast either.....geez they are quick.

After all, a great day, as per above birds actually went well.
Managed to bring down a few high ones, the sort you remember.

But we were soaked after one drive, my Musto lightweight despite extra proofing is frankly heading for the bin, utter crap!

Beaters and pickers were brilliant - we did look after them later !!!!

So any recommendations re a properly waterproof light coat for driven days will be utterly appreciated.

My days on the birds mostly consist of beat one stand one days. So you can get all wet and sweaty on one drive, then freeze your wet danglies off on the next one. Heaven!

That's why a clay shooting friend of mine gets excited, when he's in international comps ... He loves the Springing Teal stand.
