Brewdog employees are "really concerned" for their futures having learned the craft beer giant could be sold off, a union has said.

Financial experts AlixPartners have been brought in to attract new investors in a move which would potentially see the Aberdeenshire-based firm broken up.

The Unite union said "upset" staff had only received a single email from senior management - with some only finding out about the potential sale after it was reported in the press.

Brewdog has been contacted for comment.

Can't comment on the company but tried a few of their drinks and it wasn't for me, A few year ago it seemed to be the trendy drink of choice for the younger generation

Decent bbq sauce currently on offfer…

Ultimately another failed VC project, Facebook likes do not an actual business make, as will shortly be proven by millions of **** ‘AI’ start ups…

Who cares
Well, all the employees. It's bad enough up here with Miliband strangling the oil industry without another local employer shedding jobs.
It would be fair to say the owners should rightly be held to account for what they did at Kinrara and have to pay every penny in grants back out of their personal fortunes, but we all know that's not the way it works. Apart from that, they're widely known to treat their workforce like dirt, so getting bought out might be a good thing if the brewery can remain open.

Massively over promoted indifferent "beer"..... Initially supported and financed by well meaning, but gullible supporters who will never see any money back. Excellent example of over hyped product and rubbish management - going by the many disgruntled ex-employees. No doubt will be taken over by one of the larger chains and quietly shuffled off into the history books. I feel sorry for their employees, maybe James Watt can channel some of his hard earned loot into a buy out......that'll be nice!

I used to buy their stuff years ago (like in 2010) and it was OK, but as others have said, the product is not the best and the company is garbage, esp the ceo who thinks he should be on dragon’s den!

Prefer a nice chilled glass of Leffe blonde!
