Out last night.

You need to pay someone £60 to sort it 🤣🤣
Tonight was planning to get out... But now we having a Chinese takeaway - so I have to choose between having Fanta with it & go shooting, or have san Miguel & stop in and get ****ed....?? 🤔🤔🤔

@BenBhoy ... a bit too late I'd imagine, but my advice would have been to partake in the Chinese food with the family, then quietly slip out for an hour or two, then have a wee dram of something when you get back home... everyone's a winner then matey

I took my own advice and slipped out and up into a high seat for a couple of hours, and got freezing cold, nothing showed over the bait until I got down and started to walk back to the motor, always looking through the thermal I spied a jaunty looking fox trotting down the outside of a thin wood towards the bait... if I'd had a bayonet attached to the rifle I could have used that on him, perfect bib shot at 52 yards, saved the evening for that fella. I'm on something of a roll at the minute...

Trouble is my mate, I can't eat Chinese without cold tinny. On my 4th now so I'll no be anywhere tonight!! 👍🍺

Out on the rabbits again last night.I had an order of 100 but told the guy I expected 20 -30 🤣
On arrival at my chosen destination I proceeded to get kitted up only to drop my thermal and crack the lens cover 🤬

Feeling ****ed off I trudged through the soaking fields picking off the odd rabbit until I could feel my nose bleeding . Now as I hang my thermal around my neck the blood had dripped onto the lens , so I had to stop and give it a clean with my shirt . After my nose had stopped bleeding I ventured on and bagged a few more, no wind made them a bit skittish.

Popped out tonight for some more rabbits up a steep hillside , but sat in motor now as raining hard and wind picked up.
Started off on grass field below slope , it must be the wettest field in UK as all the rain has drained from the hills and it's like a swamp , really challenging shooting this.
Trying to stand up and steady rifle in this wind isn't the easiest rabbit control but God loves a trier 🤣
The rabbits are skittish too running about all over. Well I'm on 9 rabbits 4 hares so far, just waiting for rain to cease and back out.Forecast is for it to blow over ...hope so 🤞
