05:20 this morning, coat on and rifle in hand, reaching for Jimny keys then “bloop”! Trip switch on meter box went and house plunged into darkness. Hour and a half later and three calls with very helpful electricity chaps and problem defo not theirs but ours - circuit breakers point at upstairs ring main - no foxing for me this a,m. then!

Nope. Turned all items off upstairs but won’t reset - Spark coming Monday - I hope!

Mate had a similar experience, Sparker found a squirrel had been chewing the wiring across the loft .... dead short so no reset.

Couldn't hold a crosshair last night, bloody gale, had to pack it up.
Saw a Badger that looked like it had a cut Chillie up it's jacksie, it was really travelling.

Oooh, the thought of it makes me pucker !
