As farmer was collecting all the bailable straw from the fields..I thought it would be a good idea to have a go at them pesky foxes.
Got to the farm @ 11p.m..met farmer as he was busy moping up the last bails on this 30 acre field ..up to almost 1.30 p.m as the next day heavy rain fall was predicted.
Saw 2 foxes and got both..only video of 1 though!

No just also a couple of UK spec headlights from a Lightweight, I have been away from LRs since 2010 and they are clogging the garage up.
Just been adjusting the headlights on the lightweight, their construction makes it very difficult to avoid blinding oncoming drivers, British Pre Focus lamps.

This afternoon saw me on the barley stubble again. Set up around 2pm with a gusting 30 mph wind in my back .
Birds started moving slowly but surely and decoyed really well , flying into the stiff wind.
They eased off around 5.30pm so time to pick up....67 birds
All shot with lead and a free service to the farmer

Things have been a little slow for me foxing. The harvest on my patch is behind schedule, loads of cereal still to be done. I had a couple of the shoot this week, and another pair from a poultry site.
So up to #39 now.
