Out last night.

Not brilliant but it was good.
So yesterday morning after it came light I noticed a dead sheep and the crows were all over it. Well I shot a couple with the 222 but thought I'll come back in the morning with the shotgun and a couple of deeks. It was next to a thick spinney. I was just in time. They started queuing for breakfast before good light. The first to fall were sitters above me.

22 for 27 shots! That's bloody good for me. And I used up some old eley 70mm magnum bb,s!

Great work whilst most are asleep mate
Good man

Do you mean they are getting dumped SD :-|... You have been shooting a good number recently 👍
Lol, funny you say that... one place, not been on there long, the hunt visited and every time they did there was released fox's. I had a chat with the land owner and asked how thick in was he with them etc. He wasn't to thick in with them and he told me that he had a piece of paper saying how they wouldn't hunt fox's.

So I told him what this packs tactics were and bearing in mind I get inside information and err well they haven't been this year and the fox numbers are at a reasonable level all of a sudden!
They gave me no quarter when I was an under keeper and I give them no quarter.
I was never against them but they were always against me. Some hunt masters sent threats etc. That is the stupidest thing you can do to me!

Other places use to get drops from an RSPCA facility but one night I think they noticed that on that site they were sending their patients for termination after spending money on them!
Apart from that it's like natural movements.

Last night popped out with the trusty HMR on rabbit control. Forecast was meant to be dry but it drizzled a lot , never mind there was a few bunnies about.

There was a few young rabbits about tonight and quite often a few pairs , buck and doe sitting together, of which I did the double a few times.

Shot a black rabbit and a bonus rat 🐀

Ended on 32 rabbits , didn't pick them all as shot a few in a fodder crop.

Got to bed at 3am ....

Well done Nicki :)

Quad sticks, which one?
Will it hurt my wallet?
I use the seeland ones. Same as bushwear.

I paid about 80 quid, and have shot a lot of deer and foxes with them. Made a few modifications but happy with how they perform.
Strong enough to drag/ carry a carcass out as well

SD are you going to the Stalking Show at Stafford.?
If so I will loan you a pair of Limulus finest oak ones. You can have them on Sale or return. They are for a 6ft 2 but they are quite height accomadating.

Good question but I'm 5'8", nearly as wide too.
Re the show, I'm worried I might get arrested!

Bushwear has adjustable legs so that you can get them just right. I've had mine for about 6 years, still almost as good as new. I have seen a pair on here for as little as £40 posted, never used, I should have purchased them for a spare set.
