Cadbury isn't the same since the Americans bought the firm....Getting call bird tomorrow night
Usually get first with bust open rabbit or diy nest & Cadbury mini eggs but nowt this year yet

Out for a few hours wander then sat and watched a wood edge. Nothing showed so checked out adjacent field and bloody hell there was the fox I'd been after for ages.
Luckily it presented itself and over she went at 124 yds .....a barren vixen
No enjoyment was taken from this outing its just something we do

FFS...i made one bloody comment...I love being out and love shooting in general , I dont feel guilty about any part of it...just said I didnt get enjoyment from the actual killing ... I am glad of my diagnosis ... i feel so relieved ... if am off to Devon with the Creed and my bipolar issues to shoot some deer (well hopefully anyway).I will make 100% sure I enjoy myself

Make sure you approach any deer with your rifle in case they aren't dead so you can shoot them again rather than have to finish off with a penknife and get a gored eyebrow.

It is no wonder I cannot sleep at night with all this frivolity before going to bed I shall just have to go out foxing then.
although I must not enoy myself too much or I will be in trouble with the happy police.

Proud granddad moment.
Granddaughter came ratting for her first time tonight as chief rat spotter.
Loved being out at night. Loved hearing the owls , pheasants and the geese.
Got a little nervous when we called for a fox and one screamed in the distance so we came home but well done kid.
