It is infuriating however the Admin (and some others) think it's OK to call bullets 'bullet-heads' and to call rounds of ammunition 'bullets'.
Until they either allow correction or correct it themselves (spelling errors aside) it will unfortunately (IMO) whittle down the flow of understanding that is abundant within this forum.
People come here for advice and to gain knowledge and to learn about stalking and the equipment involved, yet (within the context of this post) they are mislead, misinformed and at times offered complete bowlarks.
At times those new to the forum are fed erroneous information which some find funny.

@sh1kar I had a pair of Hoggs of Fife Roxburgh shoes which are made in the Veldtshchoen style which were excellent, the goodyear welted shoes always made my feet sweat and weren't as water resistant.

Really, they are Bullets not Bullet heads.
Reloading is a complex and technical thing.

Retailers sell stuff to people, the more people they take money off the better.
Often (not always) they (RFD's) are clueless about what they are selling and tend to 'dumb down' to meet their market and to take money from the uneducated and clueless.
A wider audience ....

They avoid conversations like ...
Customer : "Got any 223 bullets ?"
Retailer : "Hunting or Target, ? Box of 100 ?"
Customer ; "No mate I want bullets not heads"

It's easier for the retailer to just agree and take the money, educating his customers isn't a thing he wants (or has time) to do.

No manufacturer calls bullets 'heads'... not one.
No RFD worth his salt calls bullets 'heads'.
Do you make head-holes in things when you shoot them ?

BTW, I don't think it's 'drivel' to try and call things by their right names, it does however become somewhat obtuse when after being informed that some folk can't get it right.
Some even do it deliberately, presumably because they think it's funny to misslead/missinform others.

Here's another example of why using the inncorrect term is wrong - For Sale: - 243 mixed boxes of bullets some spent and other not. [ FAC / collected Lancashire]
A load "is an unspent bullet" ... surely he didn't mean that ? who would tell him that was correct ?

I think it is right you should follow the rules of the sales section as you do sell a few items in there or is there a Miki version to them. Also there seems to be a brisk trade in HEADS despite your objection as the people who are buying don't care what you think.

But whilst your on the subject, which rule did I break ?

Do not reply to people's adverts unless you intend to post a question about the item, or make a helpful comment to add information about the item or otherwise assist the sale. Do not offer your own products or services in someone else's advert.
examples of unhelpful comments include: "Your price is too high", "I can get it cheaper from XXX", "You should never have bought the dog" etc.

I don't think I did any of those ... I pointed out that they are Bullets not Bullet Heads which was intended as 'a helpful comment' and 'added information'.
I felt it would assist the sale if he just called them bullets (ie he knew what he was talking about) rather than bullet heads.
I didn't offer my own products or services.
Nor did I post an unhelpful or rude comments.

Our PPU, Sierra & GM Bullet Heads are available to purchase online, in store or over the phone without the need of a firearms licence.

It matters not ! we all know what each other means even an outfit thats makes £££££ knows what we use !
My pal next door calls them projectiles and he tests everything from 9mm to the biggest rounds use by the military todate.

As I have pointed out previously your version of saving the sales section is not working with 3 separate "heads for sale"
in the first page of the reloading section.

My guess is you will not be offering your wisdom in those adverts....

As in post 11 have you called H Krank with your wisdom...lol

You see people posting on how many microbes could be hiding in a leather sheath and how unhygienic it is, with someone making and selling the same type of product to earn a crust.

bullet heads is a term used by people the dont understand the correct term for a round.
why they take offence at being corrected is daft. yes suppliers are dumbing down, they have to sell to stupid people to keep in buisness.
some one on here was selling unspent bullets in the reloading section. they were rounds.
not using the correct term is just confusing.

Personally I think that terminology is important or else we are all in a race to the bottom. I also noticed the post about ‘unspent bullets’!! I think that Kranks need reminding that a bullet is a bullet, but then I don’t suppose they do.
I learned a long time ago, not long after getting my FAC and running low on cartridges/rounds for my .22rf I visited the local gun shop and asked for 500 .22 bullets, the reply was ‘ if you want cartridges I’ve got some, if you want bullets I don’t.’I never made that mistake again.
