your grandmother proves my point.
don't try and tell a planet how to evolve.
It annoys the inhabitants who are trying to get to work, and uses up large quantities of glue.
historically the proof of massive changes in the planet is already there to see.
but even back then there were those that thought they could influence, halt, or "command" those changes. they failed, as expected,
the planet hasn't even noticed them, or their demise.
