Yes very happy when I went to his place in 2018 there was some stunning work there waiting to go out.

Ouch, I bet the transport costs on that made Your eyes water, Some friends and I had some taxidermy sent over just as lockdown started, covid put the price , I still have zebra , impala, Blesbok and kudu skins over there, that were not ready in March. I just been quoted £1000 for transportation

yes it doesn’t come cheap and there was a couple of gulps when the price came through.

I am thinking my skins will stay there until we next go out, bring them back with us then

Yes when you shoot the animal you dont realise you will be paying for it to fly business class later

Certainly made the trip a good bit more expensive for me having the taxidermy done and shipped.
worth it though as I am reminded of the experience every time I see them

Yes same here, Luckily went with the skull mount for the Kudu as well as calculated the shoulder mount would only be 4 inches above the skirting board and touching the ceiling !
