IR is now LED with larger lens. What's the gen 2 Ian, what's new?
I'm leaning more towards the version without on board IR - will they be adding the incremental zoom to a gen 2 version of the std?IR is now LED with larger lens and incremental digital zoom.
No, it mounts the same as a traditional scope and it has loads of eye relief.Ian, will it need set back mounts for eye relief?
Depends what you want out of it.What are these like compared to the Pulsar C50?
Ben
Thanks BruceNo, it mounts the same as a traditional scope and it has loads of eye relief.

I'd imagine that's more down to the mounts mate. Thanks Bruce, when you mention it may not feel as well built as the pulsar would it stand up to holding zero on a centre fire and being rattled around on a quad bike? Most of the reviews I can find are from air gunners.
Not forgetting the weight & price differences too BruceDepends what you want out of it.
If the LRF and ballistic calculator are important to you then the PARD is the right choice
If you need more magnification than the C50, the the PARD is the right choice
If you want a scope that runs on cheap and easily available 18650 batteries then the PARD is the right choice
If having reticle in the centre of the screen after it has been zeroed is important to you, then the PARD is the right choice
However, if you need a scope that performs well in low light (not complete darkness) then the C50 is miles better
If you want a scope that just feels better built, then the C50 is the right choice.
Cheers
Bruce
I've had one on my 6.5cm and 308 no issue's. It's substantially lighter than the c50, battery's are great. I've had the c50 Bruce is right in low light the c50 is the best but that's it. I found the base mag on the c50 too low I couldn't see bullet strikes at 100. The ballistic calculator on the pard is very good. With the price difference the pard for me is that bit better. Pulsar is still a good a choice espicially if you can get a good deal and you get a free workout lugging it about. Thanks Bruce, when you mention it may not feel as well built as the pulsar would it stand up to holding zero on a centre fire and being rattled around on a quad bike? Most of the reviews I can find are from air gunners.
Always in Spuhr. Thanks for the reviews I’ll seriously look at getting one of these the inbuilt Lrf is a great selling point. I currently run a Thermion 2 xq50 but not allowed on the night license.I'd imagine that's more down to the mounts mate.
