Pard DS35 ballistic calculator

Hi guys
I know there are loads of reviews but just wanted to share my feedback on the ballistics calculator on this new pard.
Took 4 shots to Zero at 100 yards, awesome, first night fox 100 yards easy. Last night fox 155 yards. Wanted to really push it out this Morning and shot a crow at 268 yards. No wind but the drop indicator was perfect.
Kit
Sako Finnlight .243
87g hornady hollow points, home loads.

I’m just blown away by the Pard so far and would comfortably take a shot at night out the 250 yards.

Just my thoughts.

Cheers
Gwyn

Has anyone used the DS35 on a .22lr and if so is the ballistics calculator still bob on given the more varied trajectory?

Also, could you easily switch it between .22lr and .308, and which mounts would someone recommend for this if possible?

Thanks

The ballistic calculator works fine on a 22lr - but you have to give it the right values to get accurate results
You'll find that variations in the ammo used will have more effect on accuracy than minor changes in things like MV and ballistic coefficient
The DS35 can store multiple profiles so you could have 22LR in one profile and 308 in another
You'll need a decent set of mounts if you want to swap the scope between rifles
Innomounts are very good and repeatable, but not cheap

Cheers

I use pard008S lrf ballistic calc on my 22lr (I'm assuming same program)

I used it this morning on 2" targets & hitting shot after shot out to 170yds.

Hoping pic shows drop/hold for 166yd shot.

I have the A.R.M.S mounts on the Pard DS35-70RF scope and my Vixen LVF 2.5-15x50mm riflescope I have rails on both my Tikka rifles in 308,6.5 Creedmoor and on my Magnum Research switchbolt 22 rifle that has an integral rail built into it so I can easily move the scopes around but mainly lives on the 22 for rabbits, cats, and possums that turn up all the time on the 45-acre lifestyle block that I live on.
The A.R.M.S detachable mount system is a very user-friendly system for moving the pard from rifle to rifle with repeatable accuracy but it is not cheap to buy

These look pretty good. Has anyone seen them available in the UK?

Sporting Services advertise them on their web site - whether they have them in stock is a another matter. Opticwarehouse also stocks some A.R.M.S. items but didn't see any qd rings advertised. I purchased all mine a while ago pre-ITAR when it was a lot easier to get stuff sent across from the USA
