Ok,

The Scope i’m talking About would be the Meopta R2 2,5-15x 56RD.
Dont know or there is much difference between the r1 and r2

First of all does your scope have side parallax? / side focus wheel ?

If not forget it ....

You May be able with newer vcsel laser illuminators to get more IR in to make it viable but if you can’t focus it’s just a blur

Waste of time

My R1r does not have side focus / parallax?

This is pretty much a must with add on digital add on NV

I also have delta titanium 2.5x15x56 which has the side focus and it’s excellent

My 007 is on a cheap Hawke vantage with.front parrallax and works fine.tbh the better the scope and coatings the more you need parrallax atb

Hi there

The Pard 007 will work but will not be that great on the Meopta R2 scopes , rear addons do not work well with good coated glass and prefer scopes with Parallax either front AO or side parallax ,

Rear addons work far better with cheaper scopes and Japanese glass that has not been heavily coated.

Going a bit off topic here, manged to lose both lenses on my PARD NV007 the other evening, just fitted a rifle rack on the quad and strapped the rifle in, set off around the silage which had just been cut. Pard was attached to the rifle but realised there was more than enough light so took it off and put in in the pouch.
Checked the battery yesterday only to find the vibration had caused both the IR illuminator and the camera lens to come off, far too much vibration when strapped to the quad and that was driving around slowly, so be careful and check the lens on yours as they seem to be a loose fit.
