Paying cash for Canadian Black Bear hunt

It has been 10 years since I hunted Quebec. But yes, we brought cash to settle up for the remainder of the hunt. We did pay a deposit through the outfitter (who was also hunting with us, and we all traveled up together).

Significant part of Quebec are truly “the bush”. Once you leave town you may be 3-4 hours away from stores, banks, etc… and as I remember, the hunting territory lease holder controlled the permits, so ha in extra cash also allowed you to,purchase a second tag, if you tagged out early. In my sons case he tagged out early and just used cash to pay for gas for the outboard and spent 3-4 days catching walleye and pike until his arms were sore

id personally just troll reviews and make sure there wasn't a single one raising any red flags.
If its all good. Happy hunting and good luck and stay safe!! hope to read a write up when your back!!
