PBiR or Wicked Light IR?

For the PARD NV007 you need a vcsel (laser) based IR
The PBIR-S, PBIR-X and Wicked lights are LED based so won't even be as good as the PARD onboard IR (which is vcsel based)
You need any one of these vcsel based IR torches
Sirius XTL from IRlightbuilds (aka PBIR-L)
Solaris SRX from Blackwood Outdoors
Blacksun dark engine from Night vision store
Night Sabre Wraith from Ludicrous Lumens

Cheers

Bruce

That’s great thank you Bruce 👍🏻

I have a sirius xtl and the blacksun dark engine, the latter is good but my only gripe is the head slop, the sirius is nice and smooth and goes one hell of a way far too far to shoot at night, regards wayne

I have the Solaris Srx and its amazing on the 007 .The only thing ive to compare it to was the Nm 800 and it knocks it out the park .
It easily doubled the range and then some ,well worth the money imho

I am learning a lot from this forum but need some advice on an upgrade to my NV illuminator. I'm using an ATN 4K with an IR LED and I'm thinking the PBIR-L or the Wraith from Ludicrous Lumens is the way to go. Do or go 850nm or 960nm? Or both?

Solaris is laser a friend has the black sun dark engine laser 940nm which is the one that dosent glow red works well but not as much range as the Solaris srx
