PETA

Good old Peta.
Killed more cats and dogs than anyone.
Tried to sue a photographer after he used a pic of Gibbon that had accidently taken a selfie of itself... their argument was the copyright belonged to the Gibbon!
They say you should ask bees for permission to use their honey!
There are some serious fruitloops in that so called AR org

Typical story out of the PETA play book......if they haven't had any publicity for the tiny number of idiots who run the organisation for a while - they throw a random story out in a PR puff piece and get some more publicity, hoping that there are enough gullible half wits and "celebs" who'll donate some loose change to their funds!

Joking aside - there are some mentally unwell people involved in this, and some of them are dangerous in my opinion as the lengths they will go to are a danger to others.
I agree - mental health issues are more common than ever, with and without substance abuse...

not one of the nutters would be granted an FAC/SGC yet we are the dangerous ones , bloody loonies most of them , dangerous loonies at that !

This was purely because no one had heard of them for ages .
They bought the birds. Simply an exercise to get some column inches

Lots of their members need serious help mind. Dangerous fools who would gladly burn your house down for wearing the wrong coat.

I seem to recall the guy that started peta wont have anything to do with it now. It was highjacked from him by the fringe idiots who seem to pop on news programs all the time.
Why they give these people airtime is beyond me.

and the biggest half-wits are those who reside at the BBC who give these attention seeking clowns air time.

The longer story is that PETA bought three pigeons donated by the Royal Loft at Sandringham via a charity auction. They then wrote to HM asking him to desist from pigeon racing and sent the resulting story to the press. The story appeared in various outlets including the Telegraph and the Washington Post so it is hardly fair to blame just the BBC.

That report is so funny, the funniest part of the report is the paragraph that reads:-

"I... I was trying to show my outrage at a man with a heavy leather jacket. And, he... he didn't even care. I called him a murderer, and all he said was, 'You can't prove that.' Next thing I know is he forced me to ride on the back of his motorcycle all day, and not left me off, because his girl friend was out of town and I was almost a woman."

Even my wife nearly wet herself laughing when I read that to her! :rofl:

I remember reading of a plague of mice in Australia and the lady from peta saying the mice should be sterilised. There were millions
