Petition to cancel next year's NEC shooting show

Birmingham Council still owns the FH of the NEC site but the operating asset is a private company. When it was owned by the Midlands Authorities the leader of Birmingham (Sir Dick Knowles) under party pressure (Labour) supported anti arms fair protesters, when the NEC held an Arms Fair. At the time I was negotiating a move by the Royal Armouries from London to the city. The Board of the Armouries chose to move to Leeds instead.
Well there it is then, move it to one of the massive arenas in Leeds and let Birmingham Council an associates loose a rake of revenue

Thing is its been tried, join their site and say anything that doesn't suit their agenda and you just get banned.
We know we will get banned, but it takes less than 5 mins to create another email address and in sufficient numbers, it might get picked up by the media. Also it there are many of us getting banned, that shows that its biased, which we can then quote on how all anti- gun lobbys operate. Protest causes noise and gets banned, but that didn't stop the climate activists and neither should we.

Well I can't counter that argument my friend

Somewhat ironic for the City with a ‘Gun Quarter’ and associated heritage!

Will the City Council issue an apology to all and sundry for the contribution the gun trade made to whatever ‘offence’ is now being taken?
