Petition to get Fish Eating Birds on General License

As above folks,

Looking to get the control of cormorants etc more easily done to protect fisheries.

Petition: Add fish-eating birds to Schedule 2.1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

Amend Schedule 2.1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to list cormorants, goosanders and red-breasted mergansers that they may be managed, enabling proportionate control to protect inland fisheries and migratory fish populations where serious damage is evidenced.

The issue was digging holes dug in the ground and filling them with very high stocks of fish . Its was simply not Natural balance . Killing the birds , just because man started to over stock fish .
Far better is to stop heavy stocking and get back to balance to Natural Rivers and large lakes over holes in the ground created by man

Holes in the ground created by man can be thriving places for wildlife

We need more of them - not less

Please consider signing the above, these birds need to be controlled!
Its so frustrating, we do all we can to protect fish stocks, especially the Salmon, and they just eat the par/smolts!
We have them on my local river but the NT/WT won't entertain applying for a licence, ive asked to no avail

He ignores any one that isnt as daft as him, i wouldnt worry.
He accused me of breaking the law by shooting hares at night, he can say alot but wont admit he is daft.
Considering his alleged trade, he is far from sharp
