Phoenix barrels

What are your experiences and observations on Phoenix "match grade" cut rifling barrels ?

Never had any complaints of poor accuracy from end users

Plenty of re barrelled rifles I’ve done on the site who may add their comments

I’m sure other rifke builders also use them

Used them alot (sassen & phoenix), all have shot very well.

Had a few... can't go wrong, though I felt like my barrel life wasn't up there with my barltein, and especially the Krieger.

Anyone else had a similar experience?

I have a sassen cut barrell on my straight pull SGC ar15. It's superb. 1in 8 twist, loves 80 grain bergers and 77 smk.

Yes it is. Just had a custom rifle built using a phoenix (formerly sassen) barrel and I can tell you with a 5 shot 1/2 MOA string at a mile it’s plenty accurate.

That’s a hard test on a barrel

I'm sure you won't be disappointed, had a one done to future proof a .243 last year, superb results even with factory ammo.

Got 5 of them on Target Rifles all spot on. The GB25 used them in the most recent Palma Matches and won so will do all anyone needs

No complaints from me.
I'll be on my third chambering using a Sassen/Phoenix barrel once my 6.5 PRC arrives.
Currently have 223, and 6mmXC with them on T3/x actions
