Right I loves a good pie ! Who doesn’t !?

And I like the little individual ones !

Liking idea of one of those electric pie makers where you put pastry into the mounds and fill with precook filing , lid on and 15 mins later voila !

Or can anyone recommend a mound / tray for similar style to do in oven ?

These pie makers a waste of time ?
Or easy tidy wee machines?

What kind of pie are you thinking to do? I like making hot water pastry pies when I get a good mixture of different game in the freezer. I make a huge one in a 14" diameter springform tin, about 4" deep. Not exactly ready in 15 minutes though 😂 At least the filling doesn't require pre-cooking!

Paul, we had pies on Saturday, which were made from shell supplied by someone in Fife. The usual scotch pie casing, but about 3 inches across. I'll get the link and post it here if that's what you're looking for.

Following.......Im a bit of a pie slut.

Ive always fancied making a pork pie with apple flavoured gelatine in it instead of just the traditional salted one.

I have one that I bought maybe a few months ago. A Breville Pie Magic pie maker off fleabay for £10 + £4.95 postage. Yes they work and work well. Makes great chicken pies and game pies. But it does only two pies at a time. And you need the two rings to cut out the pastry discs. Nowadys there are such pie makers that do six pies which I'd reckon is better as I think it likely uses the same amount of electricty.
