I’m a Yankee, living in the Los Angeles area (Pasadena), and raised in NYC. I have stalked Red Stag in Scotland several times, but I hunt in the United States more regularly. I have hunted Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Javelina, feral pigs/wild boar, Ducks and Upland Birds. I have yet to hunt Pronghorn Antelope or Elk, but hope to before long.
I hunt with archery (both compound and traditional bows), rifles, shotguns and flintlock rifles and fowlers. I’m not going to list every firearm I have, but among the hunting ones I have are: a GA Precision .308, a Caesar Guerini 12 GA O/U, a Rizzini .20 GA O/U, a Winchester Model 1894 .30-30, four .50 flintlock muzzzleloader rifles (3 of which I built), one .54 flintlock muzzleloader rifle and a .69 Flintlock muzzleloader Fowler.
I last stalked Red Stags in Blair Atthol and Applecross in 2019, and hope to get back again perhaps next year.
