I went out stalking a couple of weeks ago and saw someone out with a lamp in the middle of the field. They didn't hang about when they saw the lights on my pickup pull up. It was about 5:15am. As they were using a lamp I assume they were using a dog or two rather than shooting. I had spoken to the land owner a couple of months ago and asked if someone else was shooting on the ground because I had recently noticed on a few visits that there was absolutely no sign of anything which is unusual. He said that there shouldn't be. Anyway I didn't see anything about that morning either.

In my younger days it was 2lb sugar in the tank and a knife through each tyre.
