There are a couple of threads running about this new model knife, as well as being a new model itself it also the first knife of what will become a refreshed, 2023, Portland Series of knives, named after Portland Works, the historic Sheffield building that houses my workshop.

There is a super little review in this thread.

This first model, the Portland90, 90 denoting a 90mm blade length directly targeted at our smaller species.

The Portland90 is a compact, light and lively little tool, supremely fit for purpose.

This is the knife.

This is the specification.
  • SF100 Sheffield-made stainless steel.
  • 2.2mm steel thickness.
  • 90mm blade length.
  • 215mm overall length.
  • Full width flat grind with micro secondary bevel.
  • Hard wearing stonewashed blade finish.
  • Hunter orange G10 scales.
  • Black G10 liners.
  • Stainless Corby bolt fixings (and adhesive).
  • Hand made/stitched sheath from premium grade, through dyed, leather (L or R hand options of course).

Being delighted about making and offering Portland Series knives again I'll be making a limited quantity of knives that will be made available at this introductory offer price of £250 per knife, including sheath, all in.

I'll probably cap the number of knives available at 25 and I fully expect deliveries to start during next month, April.

The specification as detailed above is the specification for this offer, I cannot deviate too much as things then get complicated.

If a Kydex sheath can be offered as an alternative (or alongside) as things develop then I will offer that at that point, until such a time though leather is the option.

Contact via email to stuart @ stuartmitchellknives .com (without the spaces), would be great, it'll be easier to keep you updated with photographs etc that way. If you'd rather keep comms through here though that is fine, I'm not about to get all anal or arsey about it.

A few more photos.

If anyone’s on the fence about one of these due to the size, 1164 happily took care of 3 fallow prickets yesterday. Great little knife. One was headshot and needed bleeding, it was perfect 👍
