I have decided to produce a small limited edition run of my Portland90 knives all handled in the #0048BA 'Absolute Zero' blue G10.

#0048BA, or Absolute Zero, is the rarest colour in nature.

Blade steel will be the definitive Portland Series grade of SF100 at 3mm stock, HT @ Rc.60/62.

24 total knives will be made with no option of reserving a specific number, that always gets too complicated and folk get upset.

Sheaths at this stage will all be leather, that might change but right now all will be brown leather.

  • SF100 Sheffield-made stainless steel.
  • 3mm stock.
  • HT @ Rc.60/62
  • 90mm blade length.
  • 225mm overall length.
  • Full width flat grind with micro secondary bevel.
  • Hard wearing stonewashed blade finish.
  • #0048BA 'Absolute Zero' G10 scales.
  • Sequentially numbered 01/24 through 24/24.
  • Stainless Corby bolt fixings (and adhesive).
  • Hand made/stitched sheath from premium grade, through dyed, brown leather, left or right hand options.
  • Sheaths will feature blue stitching to complement the G10 handle colour.
  • The blue in the photos is not the blue, it is the only blue we had at the time though, the actual colour of thread used will be much closer to the colour of the G10 scales.
My asking price for these knives is an all in £345, delivery will likely be Nov, definitely this year 😂

These is no deposit just yet, I am producing a list though and if you would like your name adding to that list then please drop me a line, here, email, WhatsApp (if you have my number), all are fine.

I'll leave the offer open here solely for a while before I start to advertise them elsewhere, that isn't to say that I think they will all sell here, I'd rather just give SD members first dibs.

Cheers all and cheers SD.

I remember something on my DSC1 that blue light is most visible to the human eye, blue jackets on hikers are more visible that Hi-Vis!

Hopefully I get one of these and it’s easy to spot if I leave it lying about in the grass 🤦‍♂️😂
