Interesting comparing the textures within cooked dishes, one dish I thought she'd used chicken, when it actually was mushroom strips.

Interesting gift that the wife wanted.

The growth stages over a number of weeks with just a quick daily spray from an atomiser of water.
This box gave x2 grows hence pic 2 and 3 should be in the opposite order.
Pic 3 is after the first grow is cut with some potential mushroom remaining within the box.

065957 is the 2nd growth.
 
You wouldn't believe how many spores came off them, look at these pics and you'll notice where I've wiped the one area, but not the other, to show the contrast better?
That, at the right time in the life cycle, is only over 24 hrs, all the worktop is the same oiled finish and colour.
