Post your rifle setup including weight

I guess the main point would be if it feels light enough to you to carry, the weight is just a number. Everones has a very different strenght and fitness levels.

Cheers, very cheap and easy to make

I have to say it might work and was cheap to make. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder at the end of the day. However I can thoroughly recommend the Hunters cheek pad. I feel I may suit the look of the rifle just that bit better and with what you have already spent £35 isn’t that much. The foam is ergonomic to the cheek bone. I ran one on my Blaser R93 with NV.

Beauty wasn’t in the design brief. I’ll probably end up fitting a Kalix Teknik in the long run, but for now this works perfectly. Thanks for the heads up though.

Tonight's choice, 3.7kg / 8.2lb loaded with 6 rounds:

Custom Sako 75 - 6x45
Carbon fibre stock
Sightron 2-10 x 32
Atec H2
@takbok do I remember that you home-made your cf stock? I really like the simple utilitarian look. I have to ask though - given the mod, why did you keep the rear iron sight?
