Posting bullets/heads to N - Ireland

Yep - just the same as posting down the road and same PO rates. I regularly get bullets sent to me either by rfds or like this very evening by sd members. Live rounds and primers of course are a definite no-no.

I wanted to purchase some cases from a member on here but he declined when I gave him my address. He said “The Old Bill” had actually turned up on his doorstep with his packet from the Royal Mail On a previous occasion.

Absolutely right A. I had a bit of a rant (moi?) when some dealers post-Brexit stopped sending bullets because “customs paperwork takes too long etc…..” - Wot?? Even had to get one RFD to post to a pal in Perthshire then he sent the bullets to me! Fortunately the B-word hiatus seems to have died down and the NI Brexit confusion seems to be easing. Timely opportunity for a big shout out to those dealers who continued to post and still do, bless them!

Same here , bought some 32acp brass to make dummy rounds , could only get new brass from the USA via Brownings UK website. Local plod plus FLD turned up asking why and can they come in. Kept them at the door , told them I was making up some dummy rounds , they wanted to know why and who for . I shut the door on them.
