It all sounds a bit like what Thomas Haugland & his cohorts get up to in Scandinavia.
Looks like fun!

Sounds good and I'm getting keener! How long is each meet? Just trying to see if I can justify it as a weekend away with the wife if I can find something for her to do nearby!
One thing I'm not sure of is the factory class does that only include factory spec rifles or does it allow a factory barrelled action in a shop bought factory stock? For example my Tikka CTR in a KRG Bravo chassis or would that be in the open division?
I understand that Gardner’s have refunded those who have requested it and know at least two persons in that position so think the information posted in the previous but one post is not entirely accurate.
A great shame things have soured within the first few months of the “league” because things could have been very good
The final may well be being held at Orion with one training day (on a Friday) no shooting in the Saturday and the actual Comp being held on the Sunday - not very well organised if your travelling to the Comp and wish to practice and a hell of a long drive for others who only want to shoot the Comp
I guess the area round Powys is pretty so attendees can have a mooch and sightsee on the Saturday

Yes I have shot it at the first ever competition (held at Eskdalemuir) where the league was announced with the two organisers acting in partnership and the league shoot held at Eskdalemuir following which all things changed - so yes we may have met though I tend to speak when spoken to and keep to myself I couldn't make that shoot as I had my daughter that weekend , tiff has no partners ?
Two people I personally know had entered and have had their money refunded without any problem for the final which was originally to be held at Eskdalemuir ryan and gary have been! me , Rich , Alex and Will haven't been refunded !
My information is accurate , the Saturday is now the ELR day I believe so maybe it was accurate but things have changed.
I look forward to more precision rifle shoots being held around the country and hope there will be some set up at other venues next year there will be for sure , I think apart from a hiccup this year it's gone quite well
Well you know you have my support , I WILL for def make at least two events next year even if it is to show face , I am looking to go to the States again , would have been this year but Gerald is coming here instead.View attachment 118198
The Precision Rifle League will encompass existing events throughout the United Kingdom and equally encourage new precision rifle shooting. The PRL’s primary aim is to provide a positive resource for fellow shooters, helping to develop and expand precision rifle shooting for the benefit of all.
There are several unique precision rifle events across the UK. However until now, there has been no single point of reference in relation to these great shoots. The league is designed to address this, promoting these event and enabling shooters to see their progress on a national level for the first time.
Matches or Challenges as they are better known, will range from Scotland to Cornwall. Individuals can enter as many challenges as desired, with the top two scores from different locations counting towards their PRL Leaderboard place.
The Leaderboard will be split into two main elements: Open Division or Factory Division. After the final round of the year is fired, trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top three in each division. Beyond this there are sub categories such as International, Ladies, Parasport etc.
Additionally if you have made the commitment to attend two separate challenges and thus are on the Leaderboard, you will be entered into the Precision Rifle League Sponsors Raffle. This random raffle ensures no bias and guarantees everyone on the leaderboard (regardless of placing) has an equal chance of winning a prize.
The Challenge Calendar for 2019:
4/5th May – Spring Roundhouse Rifle Challenge
25/26th May – Gardners Guns Challenge
15/16th June – TBA Soon…
13/14th July – Summer Roundhouse Rifle Challenge
7/8th Sept. – Gardners Guns Challenge & Sponsors Raffle

Looking forwards to a Scottish PRS venue which possibly will be somewhere Brad has in mind me too , happy to travel to any part of Scotland for it but i'm afraid gardners will never receive another penny of my money after their behaviour.
I think it would be wrong to comment on the ins and outs of the conception of the competition or “league” if matters were to be discussed within any legal proceedings you're maybe right but unless people are going to be silly again it's all been put to bed
I’m glad you agree that people have had refunds which is what I was referring to when I said my information was accurate , ah ok but the fact remains that quite a few people have paid gardners for an event that isn't happening there now , refunds are in order !
I guess the result of my small claims action will tell us whos right ?
