Absolutely right - other than keeping our lines going which we have got a type we like - if pups were cheap and there was a) no margin in a litter and b) you could buy a pup for less then we would probably not breed.

Always great to keep a line going. I adopt the “ can I buy in better than I can breed” way of thinking which invariably means I buy in a pup. I am lucky enough to have friends that are the best at what they do which ensures I can get the very best. I usually make a pigs ear out of the dog , lol, so then buy in another instead of breeding.
