At current prices, yes!
I bought 10,000 several years ago, for about £30 a thousand, but it involved driving over 200 miles round trip. Still got enough left not to pay current prices.

My financial return and investment on most reloading gear has saved me more than money sitting in the bank, from brass, powders and primers… and it’s all at hand, when I need it. Yes, I consider myself fortunate to be able to do so, but there are benefits to being divorced and financially independent

It’s about thinking of others that no one seems to do.

My local gunshop will tell you to do one if you try to gobble up all the primers and popular powders.

The 5 deer a year squad are prime suspects for this.

Panic buying, it’s like a disease. We went through an unbelievable period of panic buying here in the US. All components we unobtainable and when they did show on the shelf they were 2,3,4 times the normal price. Pre Biden/Covid scare, LR primers were $30 per thousand. When the pandemic hit, they were well over $100. I bought 1000 Fed SR primers yesterday for $80 and Today I’m trying to add 1000 Remington LR Mag primers to my order for $150. Components are again becoming available but they are spendy. Viht powders are available and are less expensive than our old standbys IMR, H, Winchester, RL, etc. When the world was normal, the Viht powders we’re always more expensive. If everyone world wide would stop the panic buying, prices would come down and product would become available again. If Trump gets elected or some other non Marxist, you will see prices drop and product on the shelves again. In about a month the Democrats will nominate their candidate for President,
Depending on who they choose, the shortage will either continue or loosen. This November will be the turning point for sure.

Possibly until the ukraine war ends prices will stay high and shelf take a long time to fill.

From primers to bog paper I think it’s hilarious when I see panic buying always have a good laugh at the sheer greed.
