Problem replying to individual posts.

For some reason, whenever I try to reply to an individual post my text appears in the same box as the text I'm replying to. Same thing if I try to quote someone else's post. Any idea how to stop that happening?

Only started since I got a new phone.

Yes, frequently. I just tried turning my phone on and off too, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. When I click "reply" to a post my cursor appears in the box with the text I'm trying to reply to.

I wonder if the colour and contrast on your new phone means its harder to see the quotation box?

Oddly enough, there's something not right, when I reply to the above post, it doesn't put your text in my reply?

No, I can see the box OK. Contrast is better than old phone, to be honest. But my cursor is in the box right from the start, before I even start typing.

Because it will only quote the direct message text of the post that you are replying to. But there is none. VSS's message is part of the post he quoted.

No, that just makes the quotation box bigger.

As Steff said, its because VSS's text is inside the quote box, so in theory, there isn't any text to quote

Seems to work if I turn off predictive text.
