Protective clothing for gralloch

Had some differing advice on protective clothing. There are the minimalists, and then varying degrees of preferred extra kit up to pro slaughterman standards.
I want to find a practical, happy medium for gralloching one or two or three carcases max in a larder, which stops my stalking clothes getting dirty/stinking my vehicle out.
Lightweight/disposable gloves, sleeves etc may work for the expert, but I find them awkward and inefficient. Looking for some kind of kit which will take a spattering but can be hosed off afterwards, packed away and dried out ready for the next occasion. Seriously thought about using my waders with an old rainproof anorak, coupled with washing-up gloves. Is that so very stupid?
 
Flexothane bib if you’re good at making a mess. Nitrile gloves over disposable vet full-length gauntlets on big lowland reds. Smaller stuff it’s just nitrile gloves for me (unless I actually have waterproof bib on to start with!).
 
I wear my old barbour chaps when stalking to keep the wet and briars off my legs. Then when I gralloch I wear a pvc apron so any blood etc goes on my apron, chaps or wellies so I can just wash them down.
I carry a box with a bowl, washing up liquid, marigold gloves, gambrels, knives and a wet stone and towels. Water in a plastic 5 liter container and a dog bowl.
I tend to collect up any shot animals and then gralloch at a few locations on the land I stalk.
The aprons that are used in milking parlours look good for the job and reasonably priced.
I forgot to say I have some long sleeved rubber gloves I wear when do Reds.

How much mess are you making doing a suspended gralloch in a larder?

As above a set of gauntlets from deertraycovers if you don't want to roll your sleeves up and disposable gloves should be all you need.
 
Decent nitrile. Unpowdered nitrile gloves, white food grade wellies and a white coat or washable apron is all is needed with if you can’t be trusted with a sharp knife, a weld mesh glove on the holding hand with glove on the outside soo that you know if you give yourself a slash or two
Keep it simple and clean, if it’s a full gralloch and external put 2 pairs of gloves on, taking the first pair off after external work done easy peasy

Sterile knife and gloves for the field gralloch. I have never used an apron myself but in the larder then maybe an apron and long cuff gloves if you really want to keep yourself spotlessly clean especially when working on larger deer.
 
What species are you gralloching.

With red deer if you are doing them on the ground it's easy to get blood etc on your clothes, let alone mud etc if they have been wallowing.

Often to pull the oesophagus through on a big hind your hands will be inside above your ellbows so the obstetric gloves recommended by VSS are a good idea.

Personally I'd look at a cheap bib and brace and waterproof coat you can pull on over your clothes, this plus gloves and you can gralloch wearing your dinner jacket underneath then head straight to any high society social event.
