Hi can anyone tell me if you can screw of the sling stud on the stock or are they resined in

I know on the likes of the Etac you can screw it off as it has a nut on the inside.
I then attached a Spartan adapter where the sling stud was

The hunter stock is the same as I have the also attached the Spartan bipod/sling stud adapter.

So no need to remove the stock.

You will need to remove the stock to get to the nut. It is not bonded in

We only fitted the machine screw type swivel studs with nut on stocks with aluminium plate internally in the forearm of the stock. Most Hunter type stocks just have a 3/4" wood screw type swivel stud screw into reinforced resin and fixed with green Loctite. They will open with some force. We did this because I would be annoyed of any loose swivel studs on a stock. A small 5mm fixture like a swivel stud will always have difficulty holding a bipod like a larger Harris which might twist it loose.
