Pulsar C50 firmware update

Members - I have looked and there’s a new (to me anyway) firmware update for the Pulsar C50. I dutifully connected the scope to my phone and downloaded the update which promises all kind of improvements. However, just before I uploaded it to the scope it warned me that there was no going back to the older firmware once the new one was installed. I stopped the process there until I’d asked SD members if they’d done this update and was the new update was better or at least as good as the old one.
Any news on this ?

I completed the update on my C50

I believe the firmware update for the thermal scopes had lots of issues.

Anyway I think it was worth it for the C50 for the auto shutdown feature alone, image is not changed to my eyes anyway.

The battery icon now shows percentage not that it bothered me, the zoom feature is a lot smoother now as well.

I think all in for that auto shutdown because I was forever leaving it on standby draining down the battery only noticing when I needed to use it what a pain that was.
