QD Mounts for DS35 70

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a set of QD mounts that fit a DS35 70?
Height approximately 7mm from bottom of base to bottom of ring.
I was going to use the Hawke QD ones below but due to the rear part of the tube being a gnats chuff bigger they do not fit.

Or an alternative would be to sand out the rings a fraction, has anyone tried and been able to get it to work?

Reading on other forums that there has been a few that appear to have gotten through QC where the rear section is a fraction larger diameter than the front, as the scope is not a one piece tube.
My front mount is good but the rear mount pinches the scope tube at the two furthest diameter points and does not sit in the ring saddle snug as you can slide a folded piece of paper through at 12o'clock and 6 o'clock.
Have put these rings on a Hawke and Optisan scope and fit fine.

Not QD rings but I switch optics (DS35, Alpex, Stellar and Leica Amplus 6) with Warne Mountain Tec rings and their dedicated torque wrench.

Are they reliable for return to zero?

I would recomend tier one mounts. I dont use the QD ones but have a 4nm bike tourque bit which is tiny and always have near perfect return to zero

Are they reliable for return to zero?

I ensure that there are no foreign bodies in the rail and mounts but could not guarantee that they are pinpoint return to "zero". 99% of my shooting is off quad sticks and more than happy with the result, any shift in POI could be me.

I tried these on the pard with a 20MOA rail ran out off elevation so put the originals on medium QD rings I tried
