Hello.
I'm looking for advice.

I have a kawasaki klf300 4x4 quad.
It's due for 4 new tyres.
Having done some Google searches i find it don't recognise any of the brand names.
I do low mileage, mostly fields.
Want something thorn proof.

What brand model do you use or recommend.

Thanks on advance.
M.

I put on Maxxis a few years ago and they have been great. Personally unless you are going across a lawn, I would get a fairly aggressive mud tyre. Thorn prevention is not something I have thought of. If you have had punctures with an older bald set of tyres, this will just be fixed by getting a new set.

Get 6 ply. Got a great deal on BKT from an outlet in Ireland called Parnells I saw selling on Fleabay Cut me a better deal when I emailed direct about a set of four.

Have got kenda executioners on a kawasaki kvf 650. Been excellent in all aspects. 99% off road. Scottish and north east england forestry. Had them between 8-10 years. Would buy again.

Only way to thornproof is to put OKO type liquid sealant in the tyres. Only problem it creates is not being able to use a pressure gauge to check the air- sealant blows out the valve and writes off the gauge!
I've alway used Yamaha standard issue Maxxis without problems.
