Quad registration

Banging my head off a brick wall today. Hopefully it's just me being thick, but has anyone else found this process mind-bogglingly unintuitive? I'm struggling to actually find any online advice from DVLA as to how to do it. It's a brand new bike, fully road-legal, and all I need is the ability to travel a couple of hundred yards on public roads legally.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? 🙏

Quite simple...... I have explained it a couple of times on here. I would suggest a search.
The last one that i registered was back in February. I have registered four second hand ones now

Obtain 'certificate of conformity' or 'certificate of import from the UK main dealer - mine cost about £50 and took a few days
Fill out an application for registering a vehicle from DVLA - can't remember the form number but costs £55 - you only fill out about a quarter of the form as most irrelevant - takes about 2 weeks to get the logbook

Insure and put plates on. road kits from Quatech are brilliant and mean that you can safely operate the machine on the road, day or night

Brand new bike - I'd be getting the dealer to do it. They do it every day of the week so will know exactly what to do. That's what I did with mine and it was very painless.
