Quality 30mm Weaver mounts

Chaps,

Treated mysef to a nice scope and want some quality mounts to do it justice - S&B 56mm obj going on a weaver top 308. (High size).

Local shop only does Hawke or good stuff in the wrong fit/sizes! Even online appears Picatinny very heavy.

Anyone walked this same path recently?!

Thanks for the suggestions. Haven’t been able to find Tier One or several of the other suggestions outside of Pic Rail or dovetail fitment. Optics Warehouse out of stock on Burris although do have Rusan

Weaver to Pic rail adapter may be a good future proof solution? Conscious of adding additional things to work loose

Always used either Tier 1 or Leupold, depending on the clearance etc I need on the scope/rail...

I use Sportsmatch scope rings as they are excellent quality, reasonably priced and made in the UK: 30mm Diameter Body Tube High Range Suitable for all Weaver / Picatinny rails. Includes square section high tensile steel arrestor bolt. Up to 56mm lens diameter

The cheap Hawke ones aren't great, but the tactical ones (with the 6 torx screws per ring) are good value, but not a patch on tier one, sphur etc. Sportsmatch are nowhere near the quality they used to be.

I've always loved nightforce ultra lights. I also run multiple scopes and just change them using a torque wrench and it's spot on every time.

Tier One don’t stand by their product if faulty. Dolphin rings are equally as good. Nightforce, Spuhr, Recknagel and Talley are excellent without being too bulky and Leupold and Sportsmatch are good too.
