I'm going to avoid Twitter for a few days. The Clusterc**ts are out in force on there already.

It would be well for anyone who does not love our queen to compare what she has done in a lifetime, what she has sacrificed and the dissolution of an Empire so carefully and peacefully done. She is the glue in our society. Many dislike and distrust politicians, few doubt our Queen.
It will be a very very sad day when she goes but also one of happiness, as said above, when everything she has done for her country is made clear.
There will be no-one left to touch her when she casts off this mortal coil.
However, I live in hope like many that someone who has contributed more than almost anyone else to make Britain great continues to live an even longer and happier life.

A truly remarkable woman. Thank God she was at the helm for such a long period during a time when Great Britain and the Commonwealth and the rest of the world underwent seismic political, economic and cultural changes. I have no doubt behind the scenes she has minimised the damage successive governments have done increasingly in the last 30 years. I hope our new King is up to the challenge
