Yes, but you need an AW to sign off the stalks so you'd need to fill in some paperwork at the time, unless you both have amazing memories.

Not fair the portfolio landing on your mat tomorrow and ringing an AW you stalked with in Jan 2011 and asking them to complete the portfolio retrospectively. What IS absolutely clear is that the AW must make it clear when a person is under witnessing conditions, so even if not yet registered you need to make it clear to the AW that you are wanting them to witness for a level 2 portfolio.

As long as you submit it less than 3 years from when you register, seems to be what's being said.

Apache/Mike,

There are two three year periods relevant to the DSC2
There's the three year period from Registration to Submission and on Page 7 this:
Approximate number of deer shot over the last three years?

I haven't yet yet completed any IRCs so have three years to complete them (having just registered)
The question on Page 7 I'm leaving blank until I submit.

I understand much of this thread refers to IRCs conducted before the Portfolio is registered. That doesn't apply to me and I would have thought was a rare occurrence. Anyway I'm clear now

I didn't realise you could print off the icrs and complete these before your portfolio arrives that's music to my ears as I've been putting it off until I can scrape the money together after Xmas, if I knew this last month I could of had my L2 cracked before my portfolio arrived
