Has anyone used a different mag insert so they can get closer to the lands. Mine is 60 thou off when loaded to mag length. I was wondering if you could use a mag insert for a 25-06 to get extra length

How does the rifle shoot?

I used a 6,5x55 mag when I loaded 308w rounds close to the lands.

My 30/06 insert feeds 6.5x55 really well so I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. Only one way to find out I guess!

I’ve been running factory due having to move loading gear to new location. Just started loading and finding I can’t get near lands. I like to start at 10 thou off and work back
