Rabbit prices

This is my web site I made for selling rabbitWild Rabbit meat if any of you have plenty of rabbits it's worth considering doing one yourself, I get people from all over the country after them. I only sell collection and local delivery but if your prepared to sell them frozen and post via courier then you can make a few quid! Some butchers are charging up to £10 for rabbits!!

A nice little website - well done, good idea.:tiphat:

Been shooting a lot of rabbits lately. I always think that it's a waste to not offer them for meat. My wife won't cook them so my neighbour gets lots of free rabbits.

If you sell them do people like them frozen or fresh?

Good explanation and detail on your site - thanks. All the best with it.

Better for the foxes to be eating rabbits than eating pheasants.

I agree ..or Mrs Farmers chickens - which is why I don't pick up rabbits because Mr Fox loves an easy meal.

Also conversation with Mrs Pensioner in the village went something along the lines of

..I hear you shoot rabbits?

- Yes

..used to eat a lot of rabbit. Nice meat.

- I can drop you some off if you want?

..yes please. That would be nice.

4 rabbits dropped off later

- Thanks for the rabbits but I was expecting them gutted

..er ok

4 gutted rabbits dropped off some time later

- thanks for the gutted rabbits but I find them so hard to skin and prepare...

..would you like them skinned and jointed, in nice zip lock placky bags for the freezer?

- ooh, that would be lovely

..well buy them from the butchers then.
