I got a 2008 RRS 3.6 TDV8 last year. Having had FFRR in the past I got the sport because I preferred the more cocooned driving position. Space isn't an issue for me as usually only two of us and the dog. Touch wood it has been faultless since I got it. More nimble and fun to drive than a FFRR and lots of grunt from that V8. I don't think you can beat a RR, Sport or FF, if you want to drive a few hundred miles to a shoot, go off road for the day and drive home again. Very relaxing to drive on the road, nice and high when the weather is crap and very capable off road the other end - if fitted with some sensible tyres. I'm happy anyway.

Took the plunge.... 2007 RR HSE 3.6 . Did everything wrong so far, bought from private, no warranty. But it was just in so much better shape than all I saw at dealers. She drives like a dream. Very nice car (so far), I love it. Tested four wheel drive, all seems to work well. Has 102K miles.
Now I am a good customer at famous four... first service bits ordered.
I think the Sat Nav disc is missing as it say's not installed. Where would I get a disc from at a decent price? Need it mainly for Ireland/UK.

I got one ago 18 months ago from eBay for about £30. It has been absolutely perfect.

We had issues with ours, re the 100.000K radiator sludge, seems it was a common problem on the older ones.

What is the stock on your rifle? Also, is it a Tikka? CTR? Nice PMii too
its a pse composites , made by himself , I have one and they are awesome ! Great ergonomics and they weigh nothing , awesome for the hill !
Having owned one for the last 4 years the best bit of advice is drive it like you stole it 
. In all seriousness they like being driven hard, dont spend the whole time pootling around, give it the beans, enjoy the acceleration and burn all the crap out of the engine.
Had mine from 100k and it now has 160k, had a few issues but mainly wear and tear. Oh and the odd problem from me pushing it off road (slightly over the 700mm maximum wading depth).

Quite right. Unless you give those twin turbo's a good work out they get gummed up and stop working. Not sure about driving like you stole it all the time but I make sure I give it full beans at least once every time I drive it.

Hi I'm lucky to own a TDV8 3.6 OVERFINCH GT AERO, its a 2011 model, i've thought about trading to something new, but tell you honestly there is nothing comparable for driver comfort. This engine is a dream, not so much a whiff of trouble with it, 800 mile round trip to the Highlands for a family wedding last week and it was a breeze, it literally eats the miles up in pure luxury and your almost as fresh stepping out as when you stepped in. Ignore all the doubters, in my line of work I am lucky to drive a range of luxury car's, for space comfort and sheer enjoyability, nothing as come close to a Rangey married with theTDV8 3.6.
